Booster Projects
In addition to the thousands of dollars spent each year purchasing uniforms and equipment, the boosters also take on major projects to improve the athletic facilities at Comstock High School. Below are some of the most recent projects the boosters have done.

Planned for 2010 - New Entrance and Ticket Office for Comstock Stadium:

The new Comstock Stadium is beautiful, but selling tickets under an EZ-up tent can prove to be challenging at times. The boosters would like to add to an already beautiful venue by constructing a new entrance and ticket office area. This project is in the planning stages, though some materials have  already been obtained. Construction is planned to be complete by August 2010.
More information will be posted as we finalize the project.

2009 - Expansion of Varsity Gymnasium Scoreboard for Advertising Panels:

The boosters are working to install advertising panels inside of the varsity gymnasium around the scoreboard, as all panels in the stadium have been sold. This project is scheduled to be complete before the start of the basketball season.

2008 - Landscaping in Comstock Stadium and Advertising Panels on the Scoreboard

After the construction of the new Comstock Stadium in 2008,
CD Lawn and Maintenance of Comstock Township came in and provided all the beautiful lamdscaping around the scoreboard and concession areas of the stadium. Hats off to Chris Danials and his crews for an awsome job. Cost of this project, priceless!

The boosters also expanded the size of the scoreboard in 2008 with the addition of the advertising panels and did some improvements on the old concession building to use as the boosters apparel store.

2005 - Replacement of High School Facility Scoreboards
The boosters purchased new scoreboards for Comstock Stadium, the varsity gymnasium, as well as the baseball and softball fields. Costs for this project was over $60,000.

2002 - Stadium Concession Building

The athletic boosters took on the challenge to replace the original concession stand in Comstock Stadium built in 1966. Costs to construct and furnish the building was over $30,000, not including donated materials and labor.
