Are You Ready For Some Football?

Your 2010 Comstock Colts host the Bulldogs from Vicksburg Thursday night for the start of the 2010 Football season. Gates open at 6:00, and kickoff is at 7:00. Its not to late to reserve your seats in the center section near the 50 year line, or to place a bid to sit in the Boosters pressbox suite. Contact the atletics office for information on reserve seats or to place a bid on the pressbox for Thursday night. See you all there!

Drive One 4UR School Fundraiser

On Saturday September 11th from 9:00AM to 4:00PM, the Comstock Athletic Boosters and the Galesburg-Augusta Boosters will be holding a joint fundraiser at Galesburg Ford located on Michigan Ave. in Comstock Township. During this one day event, Ford Motor Company will donate $20 for every person that test drives a new car. There is no commitment and no sales pressure during this event. The object for Ford is to expose as many people as possible to the new generation Ford cars and trucks during the day while donating their marketing dollars back to the community.

Participants simply fill out a short registration form and declare which school they would like the donation from Ford to go to (Comstock or Galesburg-Augusta). They then choose any new 2010 Ford car or truck on the lot they would like to take for a spin. Participants must be 18 years of age or older. Only one registered participant per household. Ford Motor Company will pay $20 for each completed registration form returned, up to $6,000 for the one day event.

The Comstock Cheerleaders also be holding a carwash fundraiser at Galesburg Ford from 1:00Pm to 4:00PM. The Comstock National Honor Society will be providing a Dino-Bouncer for the kids at no cost. Both the Comstock and Galesburg boosters will have food and drinks available as well. Should be a fun day, so mark your calendars.

Pressbox Suite Auction Fundraiser

How would you and up to 7 of your family or friends like to enjoy some football at Comstock Stadium from the comforts of the Boosters Pressbox Suite. Silent bids will be accepted for all Varsity home games this fall. Submit your best bid for each home game. Highest bidder will get admission into the stadium, food, drinks, and admission to the pressbox suite. Visit the Pressbox Auction webpage for more information.

Stadium Reserved Seating

Reserved seating will be offered for the 2010-11 school year. The football season kicks off on August 26^th vs. Vicksburg. We only have about 150 seats left and they are along the 50 yard line. The cost is $5 per seat for the year and the proceeds will be used to help fund the Athletics Hall of Fame Banquet and Awards. Please support Comstock Athletics and our Hall of Fame Banquet by purchasing your reserved seat today.

Athletic Event Workers Needed

We are starting to coordinate our worker schedule for the 2010-2011 school year. Some of the areas where we need help are working the front gate ticket desk, running the clock, scoring the book, timing for track meets, and announcing.

All workers receive an annual family athletics pass. Senior citizens receive a lifetime athletics pass.
